Hello Senior Families!

3rd Quarter is nearly over, and just like that your senior only has about 10 weeks left of high school! We can't believe it either.

As the year rushes to a close, we wanted to make sure you had as much information about upcoming events as possible!

Senior Ball

Saturday, May 25th, 7pm

The Embarcadero

San Francisco, CA

What is it?

A beautiful night for formal wear, dancing, and celebration with the senior class. The location, while it has been leaked in pockets, has not been revealed to the senior class, and the announcement is something that the Senior Class officers make an event of!

How much does it cost?

$95 currently= price goes up each week. All tickets must be purchased by May 10th.

What is the attire?

Formal attire

Do parents attend?

No, not generally (Except as chaperones). This is an event for the kids to celebrate together with their senior class.


Saturday, June 1st, 2pm

425 Castle Rock Road

Walnut Creek, CA

What is it?

A celebration for families and seniors which includes a staff speaker that the seniors vote on, performances, and student speakers. This event is held in the gym.

How much does it cost?


What is the attire?

Cap and gown

Do parents attend?

Yes! Families sit in the bleachers while seniors are seated on the gym floor.

Cap and Gown Orders - Deadline soon!

· All orders, whether new purchase or loaners, need to be submitted to Jostens no later than 4/9/19.

· All graduates need a cap and gown to participate in the graduation ceremony


Sunday, June 2nd, 7pm

2000 Kirker Pass Road

Concord, CA

What is it?

Graduation is the final celebration for seniors and their families, where seniors receive their high school diplomas. This event is held at Concord Pavilion. Mandatory rehearsal will be Thursday May 30th at 9am.

How much does it cost?


What is the attire?

Cap and gown. Many students wear nice clothes/business casual underneath.

Do parents attend?

Parents and families!

Grad Night

Sunday, June 2nd, 9pm

5298 Clayton Road

Concord, CA

What is it?

A safe and sane PFC sponsored event for graduates to celebrate graduation together, alcohol-free, with plenty of entertainment and excitement for the evening.

How much does it cost?

$130 (by April 1st, then cost increases)

What is the attire?

Casual and comfortable

Do parents attend?

No! This one is (graduated) students only!

Grad Night is Coming!

Northgate Grad Night 2019

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS -Sunday, June 2nd at Centre Concord (5298 Clayton Rd, Concord CA) following the Graduation Ceremony at Concord Pavilion.

Check in 9-10 pm Sunday, June 2nd until 4:30am Monday, June 3rd.


What is Grad Night?

This is the 30th Annual safe, alcohol and drug-free all night celebration for our graduating seniors. Thanks to parent volunteers Centre Concord is transformed into a beautifully decorated themed event including food, DJ/dancing, karaoke, hypnotist, casino, outdoor and arcade games, spa area (massage, airbrush and henna tattoos), photos, movies, prizes and more! This event is planned and paid for by Northgate parents and community donors.

Tickets NOW ON SALE - ticket price includes all activities and food, no additional spending money needed. Online registration preferred. Question about registration contact, .


$130 - before April 1st

$150 - April 2nd to May 24th

$175 - after May 24th

Option to download a registration packet from the Northgate PFC website OR pick up a registration packet in the main office. See PFC Website, or link from Northgate High School Homepage,

IMPORTANT - All participating seniors must have signed the Centre Concord Release and Waiver of Liability Form which is available through the registration process or will be distributed through senior English classes. NO student can attended Grad Night without a signed copy of the waiver form turned in.

How can Northgate parents help?

1. Volunteer - see Sign Up Genius at

- help with decorating ideas or assist with decorating work parties, construction skills welcomed!

- work a volunteer a time slot night of or provided needed assistance leading up to event. It takes 100+ volunteers to staff the event. Variety of Shift times available.

- take down Saturday, June 8th, 8:00am.

2. Donations - see sponsorship at

- business support to fund Grad Night is appreciated!

- monetary donations from families welcomed

- prize donations (we want all Grad Night attendees to receive a prize!)

- printing donations for name tags, banners and note cards

3. Memory Collage

- create a wonderful photo keepsake for your senior which is displayed at Centre Concord for Grad Night and taken home by your student at the end of the event.
