Leader Excellence, Advancement & Development
The Time is NOW!
Are you ready to take on the challenge of the principalship next year? If so, to be considered for any 2019-2020 principal position, you need to take action today!
We only have 60 slots for our first assessment center on September 29th. In order to be considered, you need to complete your online application as soon as possible!
Several assistant principals have expressed that they aren't sure they are ready. Often times, you just have to take a leap of faith and go for it. There will always be things we need to learn and no one is ever 100% ready for the next level.
But if you aren't sure, go talk to your principal. Ask for feedback. Additionally, going through the new selection process - no matter how far you get in it - will provide you insight and feedback from which you can utilize in your leadership journey.
Again, to be considered for any 2019-2020 principal position, you MUST apply during this time period and participate in our new process.
Go for it!
Applicants should list their principals as a reference. The principals will receive a reference form in which they are asked to rate the candidate and to upload a letter of recommendation. At the bottom of the reference form, the principals will enter the Executive Directors’ email address. A form will automatically be generated to the executive director for their approval or denial of the recommendation.
Step 1 - Apply!
The first step in applying for a principal position for the 2019-2020 school year is to apply online via Applitrack.
Applicants will need to upload several documents such as their resume, previous performance evaluations, previous achievement data for which they were responsible and a letter of recommendation from their current supervisor.
This year's updated, online application also includes two written essays.
Reminder: September 30th is the deadline to apply!
