Family PE Week & Apple Run
We are excited to share with you that our school will be participating in Family PE Week from October 2-6, 2023.
We will also be holding our Apple Run during PE class in tandem with this event.
Daily physical activity has many benefits for kids, such as increasing energy, focus, and readiness to learn and reducing stress and anxiety. Of course, physical activity has benefits for people of all ages, so helping our students and families be active together is one of our physical education goals.
We hope that you will participate in one of your child’s physical education lessons during Family PE Week. Participating will give you a better understanding of the teaching and learning that goes on in physical education, and you will experience firsthand the fun and engaging activities that are helping to keep your children healthy and active. Remember to wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Please note that we won't be able to accommodate siblings.
If you would like to participate, please sign up below for one physical education class during this week for space and safety. The classes are broken down by grade, teacher, day, and time.

We look forward to seeing you!
Puzzle Box
Did you notice that we now have TWO small "houses" in front of our school? In addition to our Little Free Library (Give a book; Take a book), we now have a Puzzle Box house. This is operating under the same guidelines (Give a puzzle; Take a puzzle).
We are grateful to Local Girl Scout Troop #1146 who created this while working on their Silver Award which is the second highest level of award in Girl Scouts. Part of earning this award is giving back to the community, what it would mean to the community, how it could help the community, as well as the positive outcome of the project. Each Scout had a minimum of 50 hours invested in the Puzzle Box project. The members of Girl Scout Troop 1146 are Rachel Carkner, Alice Nickerson, Arianna and Lillianna Smith.
Please feel free to enjoy both of these wonderful, free resources for your families!
