IMPORTANT School Security Update:
Our number one priority is the safety, security, and well-being of our students, families, and staff.
In 2020, the School District of Beloit began using the Raptor Visitor Management System. The Raptor system allows us to better monitor visitors, contractors, and volunteers who enter our schools.
Upon entering any district building or school, all visitors will be required to sign in and present a picture ID. Acceptable IDs include state-issued IDs such as a driver's license, a passport, or a consular card. The ID will be scanned into the Raptor software system.
This protocol follows Board Policy 860, Rule 1, which states, "any person other than a student or district employee is regarded as a visitor and must report to the building's office for authorization before going anywhere in the school building."
Thank you for your cooperation and support of our safety protocols.
Welcome Back Converse Cougars!
