A Tribute to Our Pine River Teachers
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8, and celebrating our Pine River teachers for their contribution to education is as important as ever. With an unprecedented pandemic closing our school, the incredible work of our teachers has never been more apparent.
Even though Pine River classrooms are vacant and silent, our teachers continue to make a difference in the lives of our students. They are delivering lessons and cultivating meaningful learning activities from their homes. Furthermore, our teachers are modeling for our students how people adapt to new challenges, even when those challenges are especially difficult. They are also showing our students how members of a community work together in times of crisis. Finally and most importantly, our teachers are staying closely connected to our students during a scary time to remind them that they are loved and they will be okay. Simply put, our teachers are heroes.
Pine River families, please join me in acknowledging the efforts and celebrating the work and dedication of our phenomenal teachers and staff through the virtual ideas shared above or your own remote appreciation ideas. Their work is so important because it impacts our students and the future.
With tremendous gratitude and pride for our staff,
Rachel Card, Principal
