Blue Ribbon Blitz: Week of February 23 - 27
Next week we will start another round of Blue Ribbon Blitz! Please view the schedule below and start checking your plan for next week. If you have already earned a blue ribbon for the pathway, you will not be required to attend. We will be having a Study Island catch-up session on Tuesday at 10:00 for any students who are behind in their pathways.
Soldier Letter Writing
This week we have been working on our letters to a soldier. This is a community project in which students can use the writing template below to write a letter to a soldier in the army. Students brainstormed ideas this past week, and should bring their final draft on Friday at 12:30 for sharing time. (We will not be having writing on Wednesday at 2:00 due to the Blue Ribbon Blitz, so we will have a sharing time on Friday instead.)
Friendly Letter Details:
Your letter should start "Dear Soldier"
You can include details about yourself, such as your likes/dislikes.
You can ask the solder questions about his/herself.
