Chrissy from the Gwinnett Department of Water Resources was here again this week to present "Building a Better Watershed" to 5th grade students. During the program, students identified pollutants that can appear in a watershed and learned that pollutants can enter water bodies from human land use and development. Students also simulated developing their own plot of land and discussed how technology and changes to land development can impact the surrounding environment.

Another Digital Learning Day is approaching for ALL students on Friday, February 3rd. We are grateful for the opportunity to have this day to allow teachers to plan future lessons for students.
On Digital Learning Days, students can find all their lessons and assignments on eCLASS. There is no live instruction, but teachers will be checking email periodically throughout the day for any questions you may send.
Meals will be delivered along all bus routes between 10:45 am and 12:00 pm on February 3rd. Students aged 18 and below can go to the bus stop to receive a meal.
Student Devices for Digital Learning Day

Your child must bring their Chromebook back to school on Monday, February 6th. If you would not like your child to bring home your Chromebook for the Digital Learning Day, please contact your child's teacher via email by Wednesday, February 1st. Information about using your child's Chromebook at home can be found at the Parents' 1:1 website.
