Hopefully, your student’s report card was a good one and it will set the tone for a fantastic start to the spring break!
K-8 Summer School Enrollment: Now Online for Existing Students!
The Platte County R-3 School District is excited to announce that Summer School will be held in June, 2019. All Platte County R-3 students are invited to attend and continue to grow as learners throughout the summer! The purpose of PCR-3’s Summer School Program is to provide an experience that is relevant, rigorous, and engaging, based on individual learner needs, in a safe and caring environment. Click here for frequently asked questions and more information about our Summer School Program.

Danishes for Dads - Wed, April 3
Dads, please accept our invitation to attend the annual Danishes for Dads gathering Wed, April 3, at 7am in the PCMS cafeteria! As always, your PCMS student(s) are welcome to accompany you. We hope to fill the cafeteria with lots of dads and their PCMS students! See you then!
Note from the Nurse
If your student is now over the age of 11, they can receive their Meningococcal (MCV) vaccine and their Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine, both of which are required for his/her 8th-grade year per Missouri State Law.
We are trying to get as many done as possible before the end of the 2018-19 school year so that registration for the next school year will be a bit smoother for everyone. Your child may have already had this done, but we need to have the updated documentation in their school health record. Please check with your child's doctor to see if he/she needs to complete these vaccines. If they have already received these immunizations, please get proof of them being given to us as soon as possible. Keep in mind; if your student does not have this immunization by their registration day in August, they will not be able to get their schedule nor start on the first day of school.
Last minute immunization checks can make your wait at registration time much longer than necessary, as well as cause undue stress on you and your child. If you have any questions, please call Nurse Tammy Kobush at 816.858.2036 Ext 2613.
Updated immunization records may be brought to the Health Room at school, faxed to 816.858.3748 or emailed to kobusht@platteco.k12.mo.us.
