LCE News From Mrs. Blaney
September, 2022
Dear Families,
The month ended with a fun Elementary School Night at the LCHS football game. Spartans who were once Lions, Cougars, and Panthers visited their elementary schools on Friday, September 30. Students cheered them on at LCE, and many students attended the game. Our Spartans won! And so did our Lions with the highest participation of all three elementary schools!
In this newsletter, you will learn about some of the events of September and preview what is coming up during one of our favorite months at LCE, October. You will also have a chance to read more about our LCE Wellness Room, The Spot. And in case you haven't read it yet, I've attached the Parent-Student handbook again for your reference.
Sincerely,
Emily

On this website, you can learn about the trending apps with videos designed to help you stay current or at least on the same playing field as your kids. There are parent guides for apps, updates on various app challenges, and more. Poke around; I’m sure you’ll see some items of interest to help you navigate the online world.
You’ll see videos made by students as well as experts to help you have conversations with your children.
I also recommend signing up for the newsletter: https://smartsocial.com/newsletter to receive updates on trends and highlighted videos to watch. You'll be equipped to have conversations, prepare for a student getting a phone for the first time, or know what apps to restrict access to.
