Beautiful sunset!
Congrats Sova!
Congratulations to Sova for receiving honorable mention in the elementary category for his artwork in the Youth Art Month flag design. His design combined his ideas for this year's theme "Dream in Art" and the Colorado state flag. The judges loved his use of bright, bold color. This annual competition is held at the Colorado Art Education Association meeting that Shannon attends each year. Winning entries are printed as full size flags and sent to the National Art Education conference.
Staff Spotlight: Candace Luginbyhl
Candace is from Dallas, TX. She is our Food Service Manager! Her favorite food is Mexican street tacos. Her favorite thing about Colorado is the mountains. Her hobbies are cooking and painting. She wants to work here because of the kids and the cooking! Something interesting about Candace: She has 13 screws and rods in her back.
