Career and Tech Ed Trial
We talked about trial access to, and a quote for Classroom Video On Demand: Career & Technical Education Collection. To that end, you'll find trial access below and the quote attached. I've included two quotes, however. One is for just Classroom Video On Demand: Career & Technical Education Collection. The other is for the combo of Classroom Video On Demand: Master AND CTE. There's a ton of content specifically for middle/high school students, so I wanted to share both options. Your trial access is also to the combo. If you'd like to view ONLY the Career & Tech Collection, just let me know and I'll remove the Master Collection from the trial.

News from SCRLC
The long-awaited flier about National History Day is below.
Proposal form for NYLA. It's in Saratoga Springs in November of 2022 and school librarians are always very welcome, if often underrepresented in the attendance. This year, I think, they'd be particularly interesting speakers! NYLA 2022 Annual Conference: Program Proposal Submission Form Survey (surveymonkey.com)

NY Tracking Challenged Materials From NY
Thank you for your guidance and feedback as State Library staff developed this tool to track challenges of library materials. Here is the live link for your use: https://nyslibrary.libwizard.com/f/ifchallengesnys
The purpose of this tool is to collect data on the number of materials challenged in libraries, the types of materials being challenged, and circumstances around the challenges.
We are considering this a “soft launch.” Feel free to use the link and/or share with the libraries you support. We intend to add the link to the State Library’s website next week. Please share any feedback you have about the tool so that we can continue to improve it.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for your support on this important project.
Sincerely,
Lauren Moore
Assistant Commissioner for Libraries and State Librarian
