Electricity #2
Comparing Current, Voltage, Resistance, and Power.
Comparing
What do they have in common?
Voltage and current both have to do with the flow of electrons specifically.
But they all can have to do with electricity.
A current is just a flow of electricity, voltage is how much electricity you have, resistance is a force resisting against the flow of electrons, and power is how much force electricity is exerting, so they all deal with electricity.
Contrasting
Now the differences..
while current and voltage both deal with electrons, current is the actual flow of electrical energy while voltage is how much of the electrical energy you have.
Resistance and power are almost complete opposites.
Resistance is the amount of withdrawal or stopping energy you have against an electrical current. Power is the amount of work being done, in regards to electricity.
