1. Coastal plains

The coastal plains are low, flat plains on the east side of the U.S. It runs along the Atlantic Oceans to the Gulf of Mexico. The coastal plains get wider as it goes southeast.

2. The Great Basin

The Great basin is a dry area of land by the Rocky Mountains. This area includes parts of 6 states including Nevada and other states around it.


3. The Rocky Mountains

The Rocky Mountains stretch from Alaska, Canada, to Mexico. It's the biggest mountain range in that area.


4. The Cascade Range

The Cascade Range is a mountain range that is located mostly in Oregon and in Washington. The cascade Range is also North of Sierra Nevada.


5. The Appalachian Mountains

The Appalachian Mountains is west to the Coastal Plains. It stretches from southeastern Canada to central Alabama. It is worn down do to erosion.
