These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. Recognition | watch

Director of Buildings and Grounds Dave Scarmardo and Hadley Assistant Principal Amanda Connell courageously took action to help a student who was choking in the lunchroom. They were able to help the student out of the dangerous medical situation.

Superintendent Kaczkowski presented them with a certificate and a recognition pin for their life saving efforts.


Review of the Committee of the Whole Meeting Structure | watch

Dr. Kaczkowski presented “Understanding the Mechanics of a Board meeting versus a Committee of the Whole.”


Presentation on Safety with Glen Ellyn Chief of Police Phil Norton | watch

Dr. Kaczkowski introduced Chief Philip Norton and thanked him and Sergeant Craig Holstead for their partnership. Chief Norton shared stories of previous school shootings and lessons learned. He also shared warning signs to look for that could signal an issue and/or plans to carry out a threat.
