Principal's Press
18th Edition-November, 2016
First Quarter is in the Books!
Our year is off to a great start and the first quarter is already complete. Our new master is running smoothly with all of our core classes meeting for 89 minutes blocks. Our Allied Arts courses are 43 minutes long, and our Extension Time (ET courses) and Homeroom classes that occur during our PIE time (Prevention, Intervention, Extension) run for thirty minutes. Our students are enjoying the ET courses as they are being exposed to a variety of content over the course of the year.

Fuel Up To Play 60 SWAT Team
Webster's Fuel Up to Play 60 SWAT Team has begun the year with a variety of events. Some members walked in the Homecoming Parade and threw out string cheese to the crowd to promote dairy. We also planned and ran our first Wellness Wednesday of the year in October which featured intense games of dodge ball after school. We have also made smoothies with a Halloween theme and sold them at the school store. We are happy to report that our Fuel Up to Play 60 group also received $400 in grant money this year to continue promotion of being physically active and eating healthy at Webster!
