Mrs. Zickert
Kindergarten - Deerfield Elementary School
February 10-14, 2014
Our theme for the week was Valentine's Day. We celebrated on Friday by passing out our Valentines to one another, reading lots of holiday stories, writing about the fun day AND eating ice cream sundaes. Thank you very much to everyone who helped to contribute supplies for the sundaes!
Our field trip to UW-Whitewater on Wednesday was a HUGE success! The class loved the play and talked about it the whole bus ride home. Thank you to the chaperones for taking their time to join us on the trip and help with lunch afterwards.
The 100th day of school will be on Monday! Don't forget to finish your cape and bring it to school on Monday. Dress in your super-hero attire as well! We will be celebrating the number 100 all day.
The 2nd trimester is soon coming to an end. Report cards will be sent home the beginning of March. Parent / Teacher conferences will be held mid-March. The dates are Thursday, March 13th and Tuesday, March 18th. Only a few families have signed up for times. If you have not done so, please call the office to schedule a time.
