School Update
Dear Parents and Carers
We have had a really good week at school, despite the rain and the on-going concerns around the virus. In our school bubble we are getting on and enjoying our learning.
Start and End of Day Routines
Thank you to all parents and carers who have really helped ensure that transitions are smooth and organised. Please can we request that wherever possible families follow the arrows and stay together. In the mornings, please can we ask that parents in Key Stage 1 avoid turning up too early so that there is no congestion outside the classrooms. Please use the painted foot prints to help with social distancing.
Informing School About Absences
Another thank you to parents and carers for the way that they have kept us informed about absences, or sought advice regarding the best course of action when children develop specific symptoms. Please do let us know about the circumstances of your children and we will do our best to support you and them.
Remote Learning and Google Classroom
Last week we sent out the Remote Education Plan which is available on the link below. We have considered feedback we have received in the event of a bubble closure and staff are supporting children to learn how to access Google Classroom. This is so that they can use the online platform to access and submit work as well as participating in online video sessions.
Kind regards

Cathedral Children and Family Worker
Ripon Cathedral is appointing a Children and Family Worker to work together with the Canon Pastor in developing the flourishing and growing ministry to children and their parents. Children are a vital part of the cathedral community, whether singing as choristers, as regular members of the congregation or as pupils in the Ripon Cathedral Primary School. We wish to develop and expand both our current Sunday and midweek offer and seek to grow further our on-line presence which worked well during lockdown.
18 Hours per week. £10,400 pa
