Three Tips from Nurse Natalie

  1. Many of the kids need more hydration! Please send your kids with a water bottle each day. Remind them to actually drink the water. Ensure they don't pour out the water and replace it with Capri Sun before they leave for school.
  2. One of the most frequent reasons kids visit the nurse's office is for Chapstick. Winter is coming. Please add Chapstik (and a little snack for the House Hough direwolf) to your child's backpack.
  3. Donations are always appreciated for Chapstick, socks, leggings, sweatpants and wildfire.

Hough Night at Barnes & Noble

Join your fellow Hough Hawks for an evening of holiday cheer on Thursday, December 6th. Enjoy student performances from Drama Club and Orchestra as well as student artwork that will be on display. Our own Mr. George will be sharing and autographing his new book, Helmet Man and the Chocolate Cake! This is a fun event with a percentage of proceeds being returned to Hough!

Oh Sew You Didn't!

Thanks to all the families who purchased no-sew fleece blanket kits for Barrington Giving Day. You should have received your kits this week.

Please return completed blankets to the Helping Hawks Donation box (NOT the Barrington Giving Day box) by the front entrance of the school by Monday, November 26th.

Congratulations to Hough's September and October Pride Wallers!

Coffee Talk for Teen Parents

Please join BStrong Together, the Department of Health and other experts to discuss the dangerous trend of vaping and what can be done for the health and safety of our community.

While traditional cigarette usage among teens has continued to fall, the use of vaping has reached epidemic proportions. Bstrong Together will host parent coffees on Thursday, November 15th at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Barrington Area Library.
