Letter From The CEO:
Welcome to October, everyone.
We have so many events running this month, I can’t cover them all in this note. I’ll highlight just a couple for you. Our second annual Bake-Off will take place on October 15. Register with us at the front desk to enter your baked goods. (Registration is required to participate.)
Families are invited to join us for our Fall Festival on October 22. The event will be full of autumn-themed activities, treats, and books. Board Game Night also returns this month on October 17. Come hang out with others from the community and make use of our board games for the evening—no need to bring your own, we have more than 50.
Our Ballot Read-Through is back this year on October 18. Like most of you, we’re voters but not lawyers, so we’ll do our best to make sense of the information on the ballot and in the blue book together.
All of our regular events are running this month too, so if you’re ready for Book Club, Food for
Thoughts, Knit and Crochet Drop-In, Writers Group, Crafters Corner, Teen Hang-Out, or Storytime, just check the listings below. We hope to see a lot of you this month. Happy Fall!
We are fully open to the public! Come on in to see us 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-4pm (closed from 12-1pm for lunch and cleaning) on Saturdays.
Curbside hours are constant every day, Monday through Saturday, from 10am until 5pm. Please email us at email@example.com or give us a call and let us know what we can gather for you. We'll arrange a time to pick up for contactless delivery.
Low-Sensory Storytime is now offered on the second Saturday of each month.
What: A quiet storytime for babies and introverted children
When: October 8th at 4PM, registration required

Join us for games, crafts, food and drink to celebrate fall holidays on October 22nd at 2PM! Do you celebrate Yom Kippur, Diwali, Halloween, Dios de Los Muertos, something else? Bring a kid’s craft to share or a story to teach us about your fall holiday! The fun is all inclusive!
All genres of writing welcome. We meet every Monday from 10:15AM to 11:45AM.
Food for Thoughts Dinner
Join us for a locally-sourced dinner on October 13th at 6PM as we discuss topics important to our community. This month’s theme is “Water and Wastewater”. Registration Required.

Knit & Crochet Drop-in
This is not a class, just a place for fellow crafters to meet and knit/crochet together. This is a drop-in event.
This month's Book Club will be on October 25th over the book Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng. There is a 1:30PM meeting and 6:30PM meeting. Come to whichever time works best for you.
Our next meeting will be on December 6th over the book One Second After by William Forstchen.
Teen Hang Out
Hang time at the Library will be on the fourth Thursday of the month from 4:30 - 5:30PM!
- October 27th
- (No November meeting - Thanksgiving!)
- December 22nd
Eat a snack, make a craft, read, do homework, or just hang out and chat.
