Summer School Registration Opens Tuesday
Optional Home Input Form
At Sprague, we believe that home-school collaboration creates the best possible placement for students.
The creation of classes is an important process for our students where staff collectively looks at the needs of individuals, groups, the balance of academics, and social-emotional needs, to create healthy learning groups and environments.
If you wish to share information on your child, this is your opportunity to do so through this Optional Home Input Form. The input you provide will be reviewed and considered as we begin planning for your child's upcoming school year. While specific teacher requests cannot be accommodated, your insight is valued. We look forward to providing your child with continued learning excellence. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with your child's team.
Please note, the input you share is not private between the principal and parent and will be shared with our team during the placement process. Please do not request specific teachers. Any response form that lists a specific teacher will not be included in the placement process. Please complete a form for each of your children, if desired. This optional home input form needs to be completed by April 17, 2020.

Run for D103
Early Bird Registration is now open for the 10th Annual Run for D103 5K Run/Walk. This PTO sponsored event will be held at Daniel Wright Junior High School on Saturday, May 9, at 8 a.m. Not a runner but looking to volunteer? The 5K Run/Walk Committee could use your help. Choose from over 50 opportunities and find the one that works best for you.
This annual event is a marquee fundraiser that D103 students and families look forward to every year. It has become known in the community as a fun, family race event hosting over 600 runners and attendees.
With a focus on health and fitness, entertainment, and education, over the past five years, the event has funded approximately $150,000 for D103 schools recreational sports fields, playgrounds and most recently the PTO helped fund the replacement of the existing "spine out" book shelving at the Sprague Elementary library with an innovative "face out" shelving system. This year, all proceeds raised from the event will go toward equipping the brand new STEM Lab currently under construction at Daniel Wright.
