Make Way for Writing

an Oklahoma A+ Schools Arts Integration Workshop

How do you view yourself as a writer? Young children see themselves as writers, artists, and creative thinkers. Sir Ken Robinson maintains that traditional education inhibits that natural confidence. How do we encourage this innate sense of curiosity, wonder, and engagement in our students and ourselves?

You're invited to join OKA+ Schools and professors from the University of Central Oklahoma to
  • Learn creative and sustainable writing strategies that address all curricular areas!
  • Explore deliberate arts integration!
  • Make direct connections to the Common Core State Standards!

Educators in grades PK-12 and interested community members are invited to register at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/AIW-2013.
