CAREER SIGNING DAY
Message from Jeff and Yolanda
Congratulations are in order for the visit that we had from the Florida Council of 100 and on the inaugural Career Signing Day! LWTC and LWTHS received a lot of kudos for the engagement and opportunities that we offer to students each and every day. It was emphasized that the culture of the school was a top priority and that no student is unknown and/or doesn't have at least one advocate. Please view the video compilation that the CCPS Communications Department put together to share with the rest of the FL Council members who were unable to attend. Please click on this link.
Campus Visit: Thursday, May 24 at 12:45.
On Thursday, May 24, we will have another round of guests on campus. We will be visited by the Superintendent, Associate Superintendent, and the district communications team with representatives from the Florida Tax Watch, Sun Trust bank and Florida Pre Paid to award a two year fully paid scholarship to one of our students. The recipient was selected by Jeff Rexford as a part of the Florida Tax Watch Principal Leadership Award. The ceremony will begin at 12:45 and last until 1:40. Please come and be seated in the Cafeteria by 12:45. High School teachers please accompany your students. LWTC Dual-Enrollment teachers who only have high school students, please bring your class down. If you have adults and high school students, please send the students to cafeteria A-D to participate in the celebration and recognition of the schools of Lorenzo Walker.
