Officer Kind Project
“The Officer Kind Project”
The Officer Kind Project was created by Officer Bonczar in order to showcase the thoughtfulness and kind nature of our student body. More importantly, it is designed to recognize individual students for selflessness and thoughtfulness. Both THS and TMS strive to teach students a specific set of core values that prepare them to be productive and positive members of their community during the school years and beyond graduation. This project will help us shine light on these core values and identify kind acts that otherwise may have gone unnoticed.
The program officially kicked off Tuesday, November 12, 2019 and will continue until December 12, 2019. A winner from each grade (6-8) will be selected based on three factors; the act itself, the impact it had, and how many acts of kindness a single person gets nominated for. The prize for each winner is to be determined at this time, but will most likely be (4) AMC Theater Tickets per winner. We encourage all staff and teachers to please take part in this project as well. If you know of a student that has gone above and beyond, please don’t hesitate to nominate that student by filling out a “Kindness Ticket” and place it in the labeled box located in the school counselor’s office.
