The Spring Regional Meetings were a huge success!
Your enthusiasm and thoughtful participation in our Spring Regional Meetings made the days productive and inspiring. Using this sample template, teams worked together to create a Community of Practice to share ideas, problem-solve, and develop implementation plans.
Communities of Practice are groups of people who share a concern or passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly. You can view the Implementation Plans that have been shared so far on our wiki's District Implementation Plans page. Several team members also volunteered to share their experiences and ideas using a Give and Get learning opportunity. For the list of volunteers, click here.

What is the Impact of the KEA? - Teachers Speak!
In the video below, the teachers highlight that the KEA K-3 FAP is not meant to be an "extra" undertaking but rather is an opportunity to utilize tools within the regular day's curriculum to learn more about what children need to grow as learners.
Ms. Noell says, "All children do not come to use at the same place. This [process] is true differentiation of instruction. It guides our instruction. It allows a team of educators to collaborate and support each other and most of all support our kids."
