Optimist Student of the Month
Please help us recognize Optimist Student of the Month, Meredith Sauer! Meredith was nominated due to the following:
"Meredith Sauer is one of my favorite people this year. She is gracious during stressful times and kind to the students and teachers around her. Meredith seems to rise above some of the silliness that happens in eighth grade. She is well respected by her peers and I know teachers really enjoy having her in class. Meredith Sauer is one of those students we are proud of and eager to see the amazing things she will become!"
"Meredith is a kind and thoughtful student. Meredith can be seen diving into her work as well as helping other students in need. She works well in partners and groups and is considerate in listening to the thoughts of her peers. Meredith can be seen any day of the week smiling and enjoying her learning."
"Meredith is an amazing young lady who has earned the "Optmist Student" honor. She comes to class every day with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. I am very fortunate to have had Meredith not once a day, but twice a day in Algebra and Computer Programming. She rises to the challenges that have been presented in these two classes by working hard. She is an individual that is willing to ask questions in class to clarify her understanding of the topics being covered, and extend a hand to help other students that may be struggling. Meredith is highly regarded by both her peers and her teachers. I am very glad that I am getting to know her this year. Meredith exemplifies the meaning of an Optimist Student. Congratulations!"
Congratulations, Meredith!
