Giving Tree

For many years, Washington Caldwell School District has supported our own community through an Annual Giving Tree for area children and families. We are continuing this tradition this year. Instead of coming to school to pick up a Giving Tree ornament, you can sign up to help through Sign Up Genius. Go to this link - Giving Tree Sign Up Genius

Annual Food Drive

National Elementary Honor Society is sponsoring a food drive, that will run for December 6 through December 20th. Items will be collected in homeroom and points will be earned. The classes that earn the most points will win a MUNCHY PARTY. Please read the attached flyer and help Caldwell Food Pantry!

Visitors and Masking

All visitors to Washington Caldwell are encouraged to wear a face mask.

Students not feeling well?

Please keep students home who do not feel well. Please call or email the front office about the absence before 9:00 am.

Cold Weather

Please make sure your student has a warm coat as well as a hat, gloves or mittens for their time on the playground at recess. Having an extra hat or gloves in the backpack would be a good idea.

COVID Protocols

Please read the link towards the top of www.washcald.com about our current Covid protocols. Thank you to everyone who is doing their part to stop the spread of Covid. Stay home if you or someone in your family is sick. Pay attention to close contact situations. Watch for symptoms. Wear a mask when needed.

Message from our Principal

Hello Bulldog Families,

We are very excited to present our Winter Concert led by our music teacher, Mr. Voss. You previously received a letter from Mr. Voss sharing the specifics for the evening concert. I am sharing additional information with you to provide you with the expectations for attendance related to our Covid-19 mitigation protocols.

In consultation with the School Board, we will be following the same requirements we had for our very successful Fall Fest. Masks will be required for all visitors who attend in person. Students that are performing will not be required to wear masks, although they may. In the event you are unable to or choose not to attend in person, we will be providing a livestream via Facebook as a means to watch the concert live.

We appreciate your support and cooperation in following our masking requirement for the Winter Concert. We want to provide the safest and healthiest environment for all of our students, staff and families.

I have reserved office hours each week to meet with parents to discuss school improvement ideas, concerns or to simply meet with you to increase parent engagement throughout the year. Office hours are on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. You may also contact me via email at kmccormick@washcald.com, or by phone at 262-662-3466, Ext. 166.
