A Note from Ms. Owens

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your flexibility and positivity in responding to today's water main break. Arrival to school went very smoothly. And our students also demonstrated amazing flexibility as we had a very large funeral which led to an overflow of cars. So we had to have recess in a smaller area of the parking lot. The students were great about this! Several of the 3rd and 4th graders decided to come together for a spirited kickball game!

The work crew from the Village was fabulous today. They were focused, communicative and positive. They were adamant that the 107th & Kedvale intersection would be open for dismissal - which it was. And they confirmed the intersection should be "back to normal" by Friday morning.

When reporting a child's absence, please contact Mary Nelson with that information. Parents/guardians can call the school number - 708-425-5547 - or send an email to

The current Covid protocols for Archdiocesan schools are available at the button below. Thankfully, you will note that the slide deck is much, much shorter than in past years. There are only five slides including the title slide.

Ways to Support Our Local Small Businesses

For many years, our small business neighbor have been stalwart partners with St. Catherine through offering Eat & Earns, sponsoring SCA events and offering discounts when the school places orders. Now is the time for our SCA community to show our support of these amazing small businesses. Please take the time to visit the "live" buttons below, and, if you are able, support them.

If you know of an SCA family who owns a small business that we can publicize here to help support them, please reach out to me via email.
