He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2005. At the time he was 50 years old and weighed 358 pounds. He had to take 12 different medications. Through all the pain and all the odds against him, he over came the pain and beat cancer.

Statistics
In the past year there have been 21,600 people diagnosed with stomach cancer. 13,230 of these people were men and 8,370 of them were women. 10,990 of those people have died from this cancer. 6.740 of the deaths were men and 4,250 of them were women. In the past five years only 27% of the people diagnosed with stomach cancer have lived.
