HEALTH NOTES FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE – May, 2015
Dear Weber Parents,
I want to take this opportunity to address four common illnesses and health conditions that occur year round in our school district.
· Fifth’s Disease
· Hand Foot and Mouth Disease
With each occurrence, we actively address, clean frequent areas of contact and monitor the student and the school setting. Please find information about each of the four illnesses/conditions included in this letter.
If you suspect that your child may have one of the above or has been medically diagnosed, please contact the Weber Office or your child’s teacher. Your conscientious reporting can assist us in minimizing the occurrence.
If you have any questions and or concerns, please do not hesitate to email or call and leave a message at Weber School at 688-1070.
Thank you in advance for your ongoing support and assistance in helping to maintain Weber Elementary School as a Healthy Environment Ready to Learn.

Parking Lot Car Pick Up Procedures
1. Children must be dropped off curbside: Please do not drop off your children in the parking lot area or in the passing lane of the circle drive so small children do not come across the oncoming traffic.
2. Pull all the way up past the crosswalk: Pull up to the end of the sidewalk when letting children off for school.
3. Wait to drop off your children: Children should be dropped off right after the crosswalk (white stripped lines nearest to the front door). This will create better flow and access in dropping off children.
4. Safety first, give yourself a little more time as we come into winter:
As the weather changes more parents will be dropping off and picking up students making the area more congested. So please try to drop off your students a few minutes earlier than normal.
*Also, Please take extra caution and drive slower through Wild Prairie Drive and Goldenrod Drive when approaching crosswalks.
