Technology
FAMILIES REQUESTING A DEVICE AND/OR INTERNET HOTSPOT
Families can find the request form on the district's COVID-19 Technology at Home site or call 503-785-7700 to complete a request.
STAFF REQUESTING A DEVICE AND/OR INTERNET HOTSPOT
Staff who are in need of a device or internet access are to contact their building or department supervisor to make requests. Supervisors can allow them to take their workstation home, any other requests should be routed to Tech. District Tech has a finite number of devices (Apple/Chromebook/Chromebase) for checkout on a first-come first-serve basis.
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT PLAN FOR DISTANCE LEARNING (OCUpdate 4/17/20)
The Technology Department has developed a plan for elevated support when school-based staff are unable to work through a problem with students or parents. Families and Students have access to call center support 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Outside of these hours, messages can be left 24/7 and will be addressed as staff are available. If the matter doesn't require live support, a Google Form and email support is also available. Information is below and should be shared with staff and families. OCSD staff should continue utilizing existing support methods (helpdesk, department phone, etc.)
