We'll Be Loyal Scouts

Attention Parents!

In May, Webelos will be getting ready for summer break by making sure all achievements have been recorded in Troop Track and Webelos Handbooks. We will plan some activities based on the majority of the den's needs.


We hope that you will continue scouting through the summer. Any achievements your son completes during this time will need to be documented in his handbook.


PLEASE REGISTER FOR CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP! JUNE 6-10. This is a week long scouting adventure and is fun for volunteers and scouts alike. Scroll down for more information. We hope to see you there!

CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP: C.S.I.

Dear Cub Scout Family,

It is time again to register our scouts for Cub Scout Day Camp! We will be registering individually this year, so each family is responsible for registering their scout(s).

About Camp

Location: 2251 Bethel Road, Weatherford, Texas

Dates: Monday, June 6th to Friday, June 10th

Time: Day Camp is from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm daily except on Friday. On Friday evening we begin at 5:00 pm until 8:30 pm and will have a Family Night Picnic Closing. All are invited to bring their dinner and we will eat at the Pavilion.

Registration Deadline: Early registration ends on the Monday 3 weeks before camp starts. There is an additional fee to register after this date.

How to Register

1. Go to the registration website: https://www.tentaroo.com/longhorn/

2. Set up your own family's registration account and enter all of the data for each person you are registering. (Folks making individual registrations do not have access to the preloaded unit membership lists.). Individual accounts generate their own username and password. On the log-in page under "Create a New Account" go to "Account Type" and select "Individual/Family."

3. Give Brother West (or your den leader) a copy of the following documents:

● A copy of your In-Person Texas Youth Protection Training (ALL Adults)

BSA Medical Part A & B (for Adults and Scouts).

● Volunteer Contract (for Adults) (see attachment)

● Registration Receipt

Volunteers

**Because of the strict adult:scout ratio requirements, we are asking each scout's family to provide a volunteer for at least one day during the week, so that all of our scouts will be able to attend. If you haven't already, please contact me to let me know which day or days you would like to volunteer (Mon-Thurs) at nathangwest@gmail.com. Friday will just be family activities in the evening, so no adult volunteers are needed that day.

All adult volunteers are required to take an in-person Youth Protection Training course. We will keep you informed of what dates this course will be available.

Misc Information

T-SHIRTS:All Cub Scouts registered for day camp get a t-shirt for free.

-Adult staff and chaperones who ARE volunteering every day of their day camp get a t-shirt for free.
-Adult staff and chaperones who are NOT volunteering the whole week - registration fee is $9 for their t-shirt. The first t-shirt is ordered automatically and they won't need to buy a t-shirt separately unless they want an extra one.
-Youth staff registration fee is $9, for their t-shirt. The first t-shirt is ordered automatically and they won't need to buy a t-shirt separately unless they want an extra one.
-Extra t-shirts can be ordered under the Products tab in the registration system. Extra t shirts are available for Cub Scouts (tan), for adults (turquoise), and for youth staff like Boy Scouts (red).
-Tot lot participants do not receive a t-shirt, but extra t shirts can be ordered for them. Just pick the right size from the Cub Scout list under the Products tab.

HATS
-All Cub Scouts registered for day camp get a Day Camp Hat for free.
-Extra Day Camp Hats can be ordered under the Products tab in the registration system (for anyone).
