Back in the classroom at last! Everyone did a great job with remote learning, but I am so happy to be back in person. This week will be super busy with catching up on learning and mid-year assessments. Report cards go home on Wednesday. When I have collected all of the mid-year data needed, I will begin scheduling conferences. I will offer both in-person and Zoom conferences. I would like to meet with everyone, we have much to go over!
Classroom Notes and Reminders
Attestation Forms-
**IMPORTANT**
Before signing these forms each day, please be sure you have carefully read the whole form.
Thank you for completing this every morning!
Yearbooks-
Yearbook order forms were sent home a few weeks ago. If you need another form, please let me know. Online ordering is available.
Assignment Books-
Please check your child's assignment book each night and initial it. I check these each morning for signatures and special notes from you.
Reading Homework-
Reading with your child each night is one of the best ways you can help them grow as a reader. Even if your child prefers reading alone, asking them about what they read is a great way to check in on their comprehension skills. Please be sure your child is reading every night.
Math Homework-
After Christmas Break, we added a tiny bit of math homework for each night. Students will be practicing skip counting. The expectation is that they skip count aloud while an adult listens. If they make a mistake, tell them the correct number, and have them start at the beginning and try again.
