Returning Student Verification and New Student Registration opens today for the 2023-24 school year.


Parents of Returning Students can verify their child's information by logging into their Family Access account at www.bisdtx.org.


Parents of New Students can begin the process of registering at www.bisdtx.org/newstudent.

Bilingual Program Updates for 2023-24

Bastrop ISD is excited to announce updates to the Bilingual Program for the 2023-2024 school year. Please plan to attend an upcoming campus meeting if your child currently participates in this program or will participate in this program for the 23-24 school year.

ICYMI: STEAM Fest - April 29

Bastrop ISD is excited to announce STEAMFest, supported by NFL Safety Justin Reid, coming up April 29 at Cedar Creek High School. Watch a message from Reid about the event!


Two STEAM challenges are open for students that want to participate. Students must register for the challenge and attend at least one workshop provided by the Digital Learning Department.


Challenge 1: Justin Reid Challenge (Grades 5-12)

Challenge 2: Adobe Design Challenge (Open to All Students)

Free Book for Students

The Friends of the Bastrop Library is having its annual book sale on April 21 from 10 am to 6 pm and April 22 from 10 am to 4 pm.


All students who attend will be offered one free used book of their choice (one per household). Come early for the best selection. Other items will be available for purchase.


We are also offering an opportunity for Bastrop county residents (who live outside the city limits) to join the library for one year at the discounted price of $10 (which is a savings of $15). This offer is good during the sale or anytime between April 15-29. Inquire at the front desk.

SpringFest 2023

Join the Children's Advocacy Center and CASA for this year's SpringFest being held at Fisherman's Park on April 29 from 11 am - 3:30 pm. The event will feature a kids play zone, food trucks, games and live music. This is a free event and open to the public!

Are you interested in bringing awareness to community mental health needs? Would you like to engage and speak to people in your community? Learn and participate in conversation with a professional every Monday from April 17 to May 29 from 9-10 am.

Want to learn more about how to make the most of your time with your grandchild? Connect with other grandparents? Catch up on the latest info on raising little ones? Join this grandparenting group and celebrate the power of this special relationship.


Catholic Charities of Central Texas is offering a seven session course for grandparents raising children ages 0-5 years old.
