The Warrior Way
Respect, Perseverance, Integrity, Responsibility, Compassion
Warrior Life
We have had a great week this week both in and out of the classroom. Our students have enjoyed showing their commitment to stay drug free by participating in this weeks Red Ribbon week activities. They also participated in helping our campus say "no" to bullying as well. Our students spent Friday in their advisory wrapping up our Red Ribbon Week exploring how well known celebrities choose to stay drug free.
Our 7th grade science classes began their watershed lab helping students understand the effects we have on our environment. This week our Art classes embraced the various themes of Red Ribbon week to help inspire their art for that day. Ms. Timbes 7th grade Writing class conducted a breakout activity to further their understanding of apostrophes and semicolons.
Our football teams competed against Royse City. All teams were victorious in their wins over Bulldogs. Our Lady Warriors volleyball teams all were victorious Thursday evening over against Ennis. On Saturday, both of our 7th & 8th grade A teams won 2nd place in their district tournment. Our cross country team competed in a dual meet against Brown this week in preparation for their district race.
Our Warriors continue to push their limits and we are very proud of their efforts in all that they do to represent Warren! Go Warriors!!
Warrior Teacher of Week
This week we would like to recognize Mrs. Margaret Pearce as our teacher of the week. Mrs. Pearce teaches 7th grade Art. She joined our Warrior family this year and has been doing an exceptional job. Mrs. Pearce displays her passion for art in all that she does. She is always trying to make art fun for her students. She is always willing to give up her time to help her students. Her students love attending her class and are always curious as to what they are going to learn that day. Mrs. Pearce is always willing to help when and wherever needed. She always has a smile on her face and spirit of positivity. We are thankful for all that she is doing for our students and campus and are grateful to have her here at Warren.
Warrior Students of the Week
This week we would like to recognize Sydney Davis as our 7th grade Warrior of the Week. Sydney's teachers describe her as an amazing kid and student. She always works hard to get everything done to the best of her ability and help those around her do so as well. Sydney has a great attitude and big smile on her face each day. Her teachers say that she is a true example of kindness.
This week we would like to recognize Micah Taylor as our Warrior of the Week. Micah walks into class everyday with a huge smile on her face. She genuinely cares for her teachers and fellow students. She works diligently every day to do her best in class. She helps her peers when they need help and has such a kind personality.
We are very proud of these two students and how they display the Warrior Way in all that they do! Great job Warriors!

FISD Upcoming Bond Election
With Forney ISD expected to grow by more than 8,500 students by 2029 – an increase of over 70 percent – the Forney ISD Board of Trustees and District administrators commissioned an Innovative School Facilities Planning Committee to develop a comprehensive bond package to help us better manage this rapid growth.
Their work led the Innovative School Facilities Planning Committee to recommend a comprehensive $623 million bond package to prepare Forney ISD for our fast growth in student enrollment. The Forney ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved this recommendation May 29. Voters in the district can vote for the bond Tuesday, November 5.

Parent Drop Off & Parent Pick Up
Students are asked to walk along side their car until it has made a complete stop to enter their vehicle in order to keep traffic flowing. Also, please make sure to utilize the left lane once you have picked up your student. We have appreciated your patience as we have worked to make this process as efficient as possible.
Student Dress Code
Students will be allowed to wear college, military, Warren, FHS, and/or a solid color hoodie or jacket. All other types of hoodies and jackets will not be allowed in the building.
