Elm Street News
September 2021
From the Desk of Mr. Amerman!
Greetings Elm Street Families,
The last couple weeks of September are shaping up to be busy at Elm Street! We will have our first Snack Shack of the school year this week and school pictures are scheduled for Friday. School picture order forms went home last week and will need to be returned to school unless you plan to take advantage of the online ordering option from Lifetouch.
Elm Street has been in phase two of the RCS COVID plan since the end of August and it was decided at the school board meeting last week that all RCS schools will remain in phase 2 until Fall Break. This means that all students and teachers will continue to wear masks indoors and on the school bus. As part of the procedures, students will also continue to eat all meals in the classroom and visitors will not be permitted in the building. You can get more information about the RCS COVID plan for clicking on this link below. Thank you for helping us protect the pack!

PowerSchool Parent Access
Attention 3-6 Parents: Progress reports and parent PowerSchool access letters went home last week. Creating a parent account will allow you to see your child's current grades and attendance in PowerSchool. This is a great opportunity to monitor your child's academic progress! The link to the YouTube video below will give you step by step directions to help you create your account. Please reach out to office if you have any problems and we will get you in touch with Mrs. Arrington, our media specialist.
