Senior Uchenna Uba takes first at NYSPHSAA Track and Field Championships!!

Senior Uchenna Uba had a successful weekend at the NYSPHSAA Track and Field Championships! Uchenna came in 1st place for D2 Girls Discus, and 2nd place for D2 Girls Shot Put. She advanced to the New York State Federation Championships and placed 1st overall in Discus and 7th place overall in Shot Put!!!

Congratulations, Uchenna! You made RCS proud!


AWB Field Day & PTA Fun Run!

Last week was the AWB Field Day and PTA Fun Run -- Students had a blast spending the day outside enjoying the nice weather and the AWB community! Throughout the day, they participated in Art/STEM activities, field games, and the AWB PTA Fun Run to raise money for school needs, field trips, and more. Students also had the opportunity to jump rope, hula hoop, draw with sidewalk chalk, and got to enjoy some popsicles. Big, huge thank you to the AWB PTA, PE Teachers Ms. McClave and Mr. Herwick, Mrs. Neubart, Ms. Trombley, HS National Honor Society Students, families, staff, and the AWB Custodial and O&M staff for all of their help and support that made the day a huge success!! Class of 2022 Celebrations!!

On Saturday, June 4, the RCS Class of 2022 celebrated a special milestone in their high school career with their RCS High School Senior Prom!

A big thank you goes out to senior class advisors Ms. Barbarino and Ms. Meltz for all of their hard work and dedication to the RCS Class of 2022.

Special shout-out goes to our host, The Sycamore Country Club, for providing a beautiful venue for our seniors to celebrate, to Jennifer Kennedy for taking these wonderful pictures, and to all of the families and staff who helped support this great night!

Looks like a fantastic time was had by all!!


RCS Music Department wraps up the year with Spring Concerts and Senior Celebrations!

The RCS Music Department and School District were thrilled to be able to bring back live performances during the 2021-2022 school year, and this spring has been no exception! RCS students have delivered phenomenal performances throughout the entire spring concert season. This week we wrapped up spring performances with our PBC & AWB 1st and 3rd Grade Concerts, and they did a wonderful job! PBC Students take a trip to Joralemon Park to explore the natural habitat

Over the last few weeks, third and fourth-grade students at PBC Elementary have been taking trips to Joralemon Park! They spent the day learning about the ecosystems and habitats that exist within the park while working on their research and observation skills! Huge thank you to PBC STEAM and Enrichment Teacher Mr. Powers, NYS Museum of Natural History Geologist Brian Slater, as well as all of the teachers, staff, and parents that helped make the trip so memorable! Additionally, a big thank you to the Coeymans Highway Superintendent Dannie Baker and the entire Town of Coeymans Highway Department for cleaning up the park and specific areas so our students could better explore their environment! District Fundraisers

Running & Upcoming Fundraisers:

  • Class of 2023 -- Bottle and Can Collections: Bring your empty bottles and cans to Just Makes Cents at 2381 Route 9W in Ravena and ask them to apply your total to the Class of 2023 account. The fundraiser runs all year long.
