PLC Corner
We will get back on track with our grade level time together this week after a few weeks of much needed time on your own. This week will be begin the second phase of our work together developing literacy units of study. The focus over the next couple of meetings will be centered around the idea of enduring understandings and essential questions. No pre-work required. Just come with the list of the main unit/theme that you want to tackle and we'll tailor our time together towards your needs.
From Beth:
(RE: Elementary Scope and Sequence: Stage 1)
Hi EE team!
This work is super doable and we’re in a really good place to get stage 1 up and going. I promise I wouldn’t say that if I didn’t think it was true. We had a very brief conversation at our Literacy PLC about some of the big ideas of sage 1. After we hashed through them, they make sense and are not too daunting.
Please be assured, too, that we will begin and be supported during our PLC times on Fridays. We will have lots of brains together to work through these and guide our conversation. Don’t feel like you need to totally wrap your head around some of these ideas until our next Friday PLC.
