We Are Learning To...
Reading
We will begin a new unit of study where students will be looking at a variety of text to practice using evidence to answer questions about the text and identify the main idea of the text.
Math
In Math we will be studying how to use the distributive property to solve division problems. We will also practice solving multi-step word problems using all operations (multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction).
Don't forget to look for the Math newsletter that will come home before each new topic of a unit so you are aware of what your child will be learning and how you can help them at home.
