Behavior Support Package Deal
This package deal consists of: all major functions to obtain, and maintain behavioral support to a a child or adult. It is includes reviewing all relevant clinical documents to determine an intervention strategy.
Second, initiating contact with the client's school or day program. Coordinating a (IDT) meeting to develop a treatment plan or behavior support plan. Coordinating behavior support services at client's school or day program.
Providing behavior support to client at school or day program (160 hrs./4 weeks).Drafting, and completing a treatment or behavior support plan (subsequent meetings may be needed to gain signatures from all IDT Members). Assigning client to a behavior support consultant, and therapeutic support staff during school hours or day program hours.
School Support Club (For All Students)
a. extra-academic assistance from other Membership holders during school, and at any time when the student is out in the community.
b. increased social interaction among Members to encourage team atmosphere, and prevent isolation.
c. extra-assistance from other Membership holders in addressing bullying, stress, awkwardness, and anxiety.
The Members meet two times per month (optional) at their school or in a scheduled location determined by the Membership Counselor. A Membership Counselor will be assigned to your child within 48 hours after your purchase. During Membership Meetings, the School Support Club Counselor provides advice to the Members about how to address any issues that may be affecting the Child's grades, emotions in class or behavior.
The Counselors will maintain contact with the child's Parents, and assist in solving daily problems. Upon request of the child's Parents, the Club Counselor may serve as an advocate for the child at school, and participate in academic diplomacy when conversing with school staff - on the child's behalf.
The Counselor will always know specific information about the child's academic progress, and behaviors-specifically at school. Counselors keep the other Members motivated to helping one another at school and in the community. Periodically, we send out Newsletters to the child via Parents Email or Post mail.
Behavior Support Programming for: 40 hours
Use of existing behavior support techniques as indicated in current behavior plan -or- behavior support specialist will choose effective behavior support techniques to address the behavior concern. The behavior support specialist will document the client's behavior, and response to behavior on a progress note that will be provided to the party who authorized these services. Drafting a Behavior Support Plan is included in this package.
