Newton's First Law - AKA the Law of Inertia

An object at rest remains at rest, an object in motion remains in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.


Objects with more mass have more inertia.


Inertia - the tendency of an object to continue in its state of motion.


Newton's Second Law of Motion - AKA the Law of Force & Acceleration

Force equals an object's mass times its acceleration.


Force = mass x acceleration


Larger mass objects require more force to change their motion. The faster an object is moving, the harder it is to change their motion

Newton's Third Law - AKA the Law of Action -Reaction

For every action there is an equal yet opposite reation
