The plains attracted many native american tribes including the Crow and Otoe Indians because of its buffalo. The Great Plains are located west of the Interior lowlands and east of the Rocky Mountains.The Great Plains have vast flat lands that go for miles on end. They are fertile, animal-filled plains that gradually increase in elevation westward.
I rated the Great Plains with a 6 in case of a zombie apocalypse because it doesn't have a lot of places to hide, and there's not many trees to make shelter out of. Some positive things about this region include wildlife, vegetation, and lots of flat space to make traps/survival huts.
Rugged mountains are key features in this region. The mountains are taller and younger than those on the east side of North America. After the last ice age, humans started to inhabit the range.
I rated the Rocky Mountains with an 8 in case of a zombie apocalypse because it doesn't have a lot of vegetation, and it's easy to get hurt climbing mountains. Some positive things about this region include wildlife and lots of hiding spots because of varying elevations.
