Andrew Apanov, the Host
Q&A
A: Dotted Music, lead by Andrew Apanov, is a full-service digital marketing agency working exclusively with artists and music brands. It's a "location-independent" company, which also stands behind We Spin, a marketing and business education platform for musicians.
GAMMA Festival is an event designed to connect senses of hearing, sight and smell. It is a unique occasion to get to know and better understand modern electronic music.
The Festival is split into two parts. The first one will be creating and defining an urban space, a place very known but mostly forgotten. The second part will be dedicated to workshops and lectures, which can help both artists and their fans to find their place in culture.
Q: Who exactly is invited?
A: This event is for artists of any kind – musicians, graphic or motion designers, photographers, filmmakers, painters etc. – or anyone working in the entertainment industry. Your experience doesn't matter at all though.
Q: Can I check any existing educational materials from the host online?
A: You can find a lot of free articles at the Dotted Music blog, download the "10 Truths About 'Making It' In Music" ebook or the Electronic Artist Success Recipe Box bundle, consisting of 10 exclusive audio interviews. You can also watch the Stand Above The Noise series, featuring video interviews with artists and music industry representatives (including Soundcloud, Universal, Live Nation, Ableton Live and more). If that's not enough, order a free consultation with Andrew at this location.
Q: Are there any other reasons to attend the event?
A: We can name a few: Exclusivity, as the workshop isn't available anywhere online, and can only be accessed if you attend it. Topicality, as we guess you may be struggling with getting your art out there (either occasionally or constantly). Practicality, as you'll get not just ideas, but specific action steps to follow. Networking, a.k.a. meeting like-minded artists. Bonuses, as everyone loves free stuff!
Q: How do I contact the organisers?
A: If you have any questions, get in touch via this email.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Please RSVP in the form above (next to the address and the map), you will be reminded about the event via email!
