Kindergarten GT identification
The window for nominating your kindergartener to be tested for Gifted and Talented closes today. You can pick up a form to fill out in the Glenhope office starting November 17 or you can fill out the form online here.

If you are interested in becoming more plugged in and learning more about the inner-workings of our school, there will be a form to complete in the office. The CEC members will then vote on members at our next CEC meeting in January. Membership is a two-year commitment.
Here are meeting dates for the rest of this year: Jan. 22, Feb. 26, March 19, April 16, May 21.

Glenhope School Report Card
The School Report Card provides information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®), as well as, as information on student enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures. The School Report Card for each campus can also be found on TEA's website at https://rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/perfreport/src/2017/campus.srch.html
In addition to the School Report Card, the more detailed Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) for our campus can be accessed online at https://rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/perfreport/tapr/2017/srch.html?srch=C.

GOING TO 6TH GRADE GT LEAD OR ASPIRE INFORMATION MEETING
Tuesday, December 12 at 6:00 pm Professional Development Center, 5800 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville 76034. This meeting is for parents who are interested in the Middle School GT program for their:
- current 5th grader (non-GT identified) student testing for the gifted and talented program
- current 5th grader (Identified GT) student testing for the Aspire Academy
- current 5th grader (Identified GT) student looking for their placement options for Middle School
There will only be one district-wide meeting, but then a video of it will be put on the Advanced Academics website. The referral window for parents to refer their child(ren) for gifted testing is December 1-15, To refer your child for GT testing, you may obtain the Permission to Test and Parent Inventory forms from the school office or access them online through the GCISD website at this Advanced Academics link: http://www.gcisd-k12.org/Page/340.
The actual Fifth Grade testing will occur January 10-17th.
