But first, grace!
We want you to know that "grace" has been a word that has been routinely spoken by our team the last two weeks as we have planned for distance learning. It has been spoken so often that it has become our mantra, our distance learning theme, our guide.
During these times of uncertainty, and always...
- We commit to beginning with grace, assumming good intentions, and acknowledging that we are all doing the best we can.
- We commit to modeling patience, do-overs, and working at a pace that makes sense for your family and children.
- We commit to prioritizing relationships, maintaining connections, and being there for your family.
These are our commitments to you, our families, as we navigate distance learning. We will move through this together, and become stronger as a result.
Thank you for all you are doing to make learning happen at home. Thank you for being on our team! This is for our students, your children, their future! We've got this!
With an extra dose of love to you and your families -
Molly

Protect Your Tech!
If your family borrowed tech devices from LUA, please protect your tech from unnecessary accidents by reminding your children of the following school rules:
- No eating and drinking around tech.
- Hold tech with two hands while transporting. Transport chrombooks with lids closed.
- Tech is a priviledge at LUA, not a necessity. Show devices respect and care!
