Thank You for Open House
New Security Procedures
For dismissal, we are hoping parents can sign the children out and wait in the lobby. We are also going to try to have students who are being picked-up dismiss a minute or two early and this will help alleviate congestion.
Lastly, with all change, it takes some time and we are asking for your patience and understanding as we try to make our school more safe for the students and still maintain a caring and nurturing environment.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Practice Emergency Dismissal & Lock-down Drill
On Friday, October 9, at about 1:30, we will practice a "Lock-down Drill" with the students. I, along with the teachers, will talk with the students before-hand about this. We go to great lengths to ensure this is not a "scary" event, but rather something we need to practice just like a fire-drill.
I'll announce the drill over the PA system and the teacher will guide the students to a location in the classroom where the students will remain silent for a short time. After the drill, the students will exit the school quietly for the Early Go Home Dismissal.
If you have any questions, please call the school.

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help with PTA activities and who has joined with a PTA membership this year!

Box Tops for Education
Please continue to send in your box tops to the school. The
PTA receives about $750 each school year through this
program. The first submission deadline is November 1, 2015.
Through the Campbell’s Labels for Education program we
can get free merchandise for our school. Send in proofs
of purchase (UPC codes) from participating Campbell products.
Tyson Project A+
We will also be collecting labels from bags and boxes on Tyson products.
We will receive 24 cents per label to help fund PTA activities.
