Parent- Principal Coffee Chat
Our next Coffee Chat is on Wednesday, October 26th. We will have a morning and an evening session
- 9:00 - 10:00 am on the Playground weather permitting
- 6:00-7:00 pm (Via Zoom)
Coffee Chats are opportunities for me to meet with parents in a small group and safe space to chat & get to know one another. During these sessions we have get to know you activities & we brainstorm ideas to help us to continually build our school community.
School is truly a partnership. I look forward to having these moments with you all as our parent/ care taker community. These moments allow us to get to know one another better as we continue to build relationship and partnership to make Willard the best it can be for ALL of our Willard Owls!

Día de Muertos ( The Day of the Dead)
Day of the Dead Altar
The Day of the Dead is a Hispanic holiday that is celebrated on November 1 and 2. As part of Willard’s Celebration of Hispanic Heritage, we have set up a school-wide Day of the Dead Altar.
The altar is a way of remembering and honoring our deceased friends and family. Everyone in our school community may participate.
To participate, simply place photos of deceased, loved ones on the altar starting next Monday through November 1. On November 3, please remove your photos. You may also put your name (or your student’s) and the names of your loved ones on the photos.

COVID Shield Testing
We have seen a slight rise in cases as the weather has begun to shift. Please utilize this testing opportunity if your child is ill.
