Chattahoochee Counseling Connection
April 2021
The purpose of Chattahoochee Counseling Connection newsletter is to highlight social emotional learning practices for students, teachers, and parents. In this issue, we are shining our spotlight on this school counselor's favorite hobby of READING.
March and April were made for reading
Every year in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, the month of March is designated as National Reading Month--a month to motivate people of all ages to read every day.
"Drop Everything and Read" Day is celebrated each year on April 12, which is beloved children's book author Beverly Cleary's birthday. Mrs. Cleary passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 104. To learn more about this writing icon, please read below.
