During the Medieval time period peoples lives revolved around the church. During the medieval times religous buildings were numerous . The church was very influential during this time period. The bishops and the archbishops played a very significant role in creating laws for the land. There was a church for every 200 people. Most buildings in medieval cities were churches. The church saw itself as the spiritual community of Christian believers in exile of gods kingdom waiting in a hostile world for the day of deliverance.

Music was Used during the church services and was very classical compared to what we have today.
