Conductors and Insulators

Why Do Conductors Heat Up?
Conductors that heat up are called thermal conductors. Conductors let electricity flow through them. That's why they heat up. The faster the electricity goes through, the warmer it will get. The heat always travels from the warmer area to the colder area. You can measure the conductors’ heat in ºC.
What is the Best Conductor of Electricity?
The number one best conductor of electricity is silver. It is easy for the electrons to pass trough silver. The second best conductor of electricity is copper. Copper is also the mostly used conductor, because it is less expensive than silver and gold.
What Are Conductors Made Out Of?
Conductors are made out of metal. Metal is made out of many different things like for example luster. Luster makes metal shine with reflection.
Some metal are also made out of ductile. Ductile is a material that helps some metals bend, for example wires, forks, and copper.
Conclusion
In this text you get to know more about conductors and insulators. You know why they heat up and what the best conductor is and what they are made out of.
