Mill Hill Reads!

Big picture

On Thursday your youngest child or only child should have received a copy of the book, The Wild Robot, by Peter Brown as part of our Mill Hill Reads program. This book is for the whole family to share and read together!

Click here to view the letter also sent home with the book.

We are very excited for our 9th year of this program! Use the bookmark schedule to follow along each night. Every night there is also an option to listen to one of our Mill Hill Staff members read the chapter(s) through our Mill Hill Reads padlet website.

Mill Hill Honors Random Acts of Kindness

Hearts adorn the main hallway for Random Acts of Kindness. Each heart contains a child’s name and their act of kindness.

Read Across America

Last week we celebrated Read Across America Week, which occurs in alignment with Dr. Suess' birthday! Thank you to our room parents for donating their time to come in and decorate classroom doors, and help organize all the fun celebrations of reading. We had many parent volunteers to come in to read to classrooms, having pretty much one reader for each day! Thank you for your participation and support of the love of reading!

Early Dismissals

Reminder that there are four planned early dismissals this month, with the first being tomorrow, March 7, for a teacher professional development day. The other three that follow are due to Parent/Teacher Conferences on March 15, 16, 23. Dismissal for all four days is 1:40.
